"Love Your Neighbor" Event
Registration for the Love Your Neighbor event has closed.
March 26, 2017 4:00 pm
St. Marks Cathedral Church of God in Christ
1018 N. Dellrose St. Wichita, KS 67208
This city-wide "Love your Neighbor" event, hosted at a central venue, is an opportunity to learn more about some of the most vulnerable people - our immigrants and refugees. Whether they were born into extreme poverty, or thrust into their global homeless lives due to war, famine or political unrest, they are now dependent upon those of us who care. We invite you to join us for a "Love Your Neighbor" dialogue with our fellow immigrant and refugee community members. We will gather around tables of 8-10 people and with a trained facilitator discuss the moral imperative to treat everyone with dignity and respect. In addition, Episcopal Migration Ministries and International Rescue Committee, two local organizations, will share their experience resettling refugees in our city.
Registration deadline is Monday, March 20, 2017.
